Sabotage

i wish you could understand,
i wish I could understand.
i wish you turned back
i was right there,
waiting for you
waiting for you to run back to me
waiting for you to embrace me with your warmth

i was right there
waiting for you to realize how much you mean to me
i was right there waiting for you to smile back at me.

All these days, i was waiting
waiting for you.
a long pauseless longing
In the sunshine, in the rain ,
in the piercing snow.
i was waiting for you.

and as today's sun shone,
i looked up once again,
towards that almighty,
who gifted me a wait of a lifetime in this short life.
i shut my eyes as i drowned the pain and soaked myself with my own tears.
my trembling lips reluctantly confessed
its all so wrong...
waiting for you was wrong
very wrong
shuddered away as i
waited for my heart to gain back its beat
i shall pray to god...pray for your well being
wherever you are
keep smiling!

extra pleasure

10 pm deadline, bursting crackers within society premises, police surveillance, citizens to abide by the noise level norms. Well at 1.30 am in the morning (Sunday, Nov 7), none of the afore mentioned clauses were being complied with. When people are desperately trying to catch up on their sleep, after a long happy day of distributing sweets and gifts, a bunch of higher mammals try to add an extra punch to their celebrations by bursting crackers right in the middle of the street. Do we really need to portray our happiness by sabotaging others’?

the promise of the orange sky

5.45 pm in the evening as I watched the sun sink into the clouds and hide behind a mountain, it suddenly pushed me into my little self.

A me, who used to run to the terrace to see off the sun and wave goodbye. To close her eyes and breathe in the fresh evening breeze and smile as she heard the soft prayers at a distant mosque and the conch shells play beautifully.

As mummy called her, she’d run down to her tiny cup of Milo and Bourbon !

And sit beside granddaddy and listen to his stories wide eyed under that gorgeous orange sky.

She missed her grandpa so much. Missed his voice. His way of combating the deadliest problems so innocently yet so damn smartly!

Wish she could run back and savor every sip of milk next to her grandpa.

And the sun went to bed and promised a great day ahead.

Na-No

oh did you see that tiny obscenely yellow car on the road?
well Ratan Tata named it Nano!
yes we don't doubt the fact that it is the nation's pride. To build a car worth a lakh!
and err..also the elaborate failed attempts made by Mamata Didi.
A fresh new negative news crops up , again!
A 'minor' problem for those who were eying at Nano. The tata s decided that you need to pay Rs. 9000 more henceforth.
The ex-showroom price of the top-end Nano will be Rs 2.01 lakh in Mumbai, while the standard version will be priced Rs 1.49 lakh. The ex-showroom Delhi prices will be Rs 1.88 lakh (top-end) and Rs 1.37 lakh (base model).
Charming!
The numbers above indelibly changes Nano to be 'the two lakh' car instead!
